Just wondering if there might be a Big Bird FF still in the works this fall and would like to let people know about a great event scheduled for 10/03/09 in Las Cruces. It's an electric only FF held at the NMSU soccer fields. The grass is like a putting green and the folks who throw it are great. For more info it's listed in the events section of Model Aviation or on the AMA's events calender online. My profile picture is an areal self portrait from one of my EHelis at this event about 5 years ago. Hoping for the Carlsbad guys to throw a FF as well! | |
